Deborah L. Pfeiffer, LISW

Deborah L. Pfeiffer, LISW obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1993 from the University of Iowa and has over twenty years of experience serving children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. She has worked in the hospital setting as both a therapist and director and has experience in a residential level of care providing assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and their families. Before joining Kavalier & Associates, she managed her own private practice in Glenwood, IA. Deborah provides individual, family and couples therapy and specializes in working with preteens, adolescents, adults and couples. Her approach utilizes a strength based, solution focused, cognitive behavioral approach. Deborah is a member of NASW-National Association of Social Workers.
