Rebecca D. Peterson, LMHC

Rebecca Peterson, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. She received her Masters of Science degree specializing in mental health counseling in 2012 from Drake University. Ms. Peterson has experience working with children and their families within a residential setting. She has assisted clients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses achieve greater life satisfaction. In addition to utilizing traditional therapy models to conceptualize cases, Ms. Peterson has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ms. Peterson is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). She provides individual, as well as family therapy services, working with children, adolescents and adults.
